IOOF Cemetery= Association

Caddo Mills, Texas

   &nb= sp; Members of the IOOF Cemetery Association met Monday, February 23, 2009  in = the Senior Citizens Center in Caddo Mills, Texas.  Members present were  President Jim Green, Rex Kin= g, Linda Hess, Tony Gavin, Tom Jenkins, Ben Bentley, Glenn Newman and JoNell Garling= ton.   President Green stated = that he desired to resign as President; Rex King followed by stating his desire = to resign as Vice President.  JoN= ell Garlington made the motion to accept their resignations; Glenn Newman seconded.  Motion carried.  JoNell Garlington made the motion = that Tony Gavin be President and Tom Jenkins become Vice President.  Ben Bentley seconded.  Motion carried.  Rex King gave the invocation.

      Linda Hess read the minutes.<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>  JoNell Garlington made the motion = to accept the minutes as read; Rex King seconded.  Motion carried.  JoNell Garlington gave the Treasurer’s Report stating a balance of $16,602.09 in the checking ac= count as of January 31, 2009 .  Linda Hess made the motion to acce= pt the treasurer’s report; Tony Gavin seconded.  Motion carried.  Ben Bentley made the motion that T= ony Gavin and Tom Jenkins’ names be added to the signature card of the sa= fety deposit box at the Citi Bank in Caddo Mills, Texas to be able to access the safety deposit box with Jim Green and Rex King and that Tony Gavin and Tom Jenkins’ names be added to the signature cards of existing Certificat= es of Deposits of the cemetery and any future CD’s obtained for the ceme= tery with Jim Green and Rex King.  = JoNell Garlington seconded.  Motion carried.    

   &nb= sp; Ben Bentley stated that he would obtain millings and pave the west r= oad of the cemetery.  Members disc= ussed the concern of a few graves being under water after a heavy rain.

   &nb= sp; Tom Jenkins discussed the deeds of the Mexican Colonia.  Tony Gavin stated there were 53 mo= re graved available for use which had been paid for unless a grave was identif= ied of the 53 which would lower the number available.

   &nb= sp; Tony Gavin made the motion to adjourn.  Ben Bentley seconded.  Motion carried.
