IOOF Cemetery= Association

Caddo Mills, Texas

&nb= sp; Members of the IOOF Cemetery Association met Monday, May 24, 2010 in= the Senior Citizens Center in Caddo Mills, Texas. Members present were President Tony Gavin, Jim Green, Ben Bentley, Linda Hess, Tom Jenkins, Rex King, JoNell Garlington, and Ba= rney Bethea. President Tony Gavin presided; Rex King opened the meeting = with prayer.

Linda Hess read the minutes.<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> Rex King made the motion to approv= e the minutes as read; Tom Jenkins seconded.&nbs= p; Motion carried. JoNell Garlington gave the Treasurer’s Report stating a balance of $25,882.9= 6 in the checking account as of April 30, 2010. Linda Hess ma= de the motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report; Ben Bentley seconded. Motion carried. Rex King stated that the Financial Committee continues to strive to find the best investments for CD’s maturing. Barney Bethea stated that he had talked with Brady Williams = of B & L Iron concerning the caps missing on some fence post; he stated that Brady Williams would take care of this matter.

Tony Gavin explained that in the ab= sence of Matt McMahan, there would not be a report concerning the purchase of asp= halt to repair the roads. Mr. Gavin explained that he had set a steel pipe at the surveyor’s stake to mark the corner of the newly purchased property. Mr. Gavin requested that Ben Bentl= ey and Rex King determine the drainage needs in the cemetery and makes plans to correct it.
