&nb= sp; Members of the IOOF Cemetery Association met Monday, November 23, 20= 09 in the Senior Citizens Center in Caddo Mills, Texas. Members present were President Tony Gavin, Linda Hess, Tom Jenkins, = Rex King, JoNell Garlington and Barney Bethea.= President Tony Gavin presided and opened the meeting with prayer. President Gavin welcomed new board member, Barney Beth= ea.

Linda Hess read the minutes.<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> Rex King made the motion to accept= the minutes as read; JoNell Ga= rlington seconded. Motion carried. JoNell = Garlington gave the Treasurer’s Report stating a balance of $46,379.68 in the checking account as of October 31, 2009. President Gavin requested that nam= es of purchasers of lots be included in future financial reports. President Gavin explained that our association had the highest bid of $20,001.00 for the purchase of five acres located adjacent to the southeastern section of the present cemetery. The total cost will be $20,451.00 = which includes the purchase price and $450.00 for a survey. President Gavin will attend the cl= osing of the transaction with the Caddo Mills Independent School District and secure the QuitClaim Deed. President Gavin explained that he = and the financial committee would be meeting with representatives of Edward Jon= es Investments in the following weeks on a Tuesday or Thursday to determine the best investments available.

President Gavin requested that the IOOF Cemetery Ladies’ Auxil= iary Association consider the purchase of small signs, post and sackcrete to install in each section of the cemetery.
