IOOF Cemetery Association
Caddo Mills,
&nb= sp; Members of the IOOF Cemetery Association met Monday, November 22, 20= 10 in the Senior Citizens Center in Caddo Mills, Texas. Members present were President Tony Gavin, Ben Bentley, Linda Hess, Tom Jenkins, Rex King, JoNell Garlington, Glenn Newman, and Barney Bethea. President Tony Gavin presided; Rex King opened the meeting with prayer.
Linda Hess read the minutes.<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> Ben Bentley made the motion to app= rove the minutes as read; Rex King seconded. Motion carried. JoNell Garlington gave the Treasurer’s Report stating a balance of $44,175.25 in the checking ac= count as of October 31, 2010. Ben B= entley made the motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report; Linda Hess seconded= . Motion carried. Rex King stated that the Financial Committee would be searching for the best investments for CD’s maturi= ng.
Linda Hess= made the motion for Tony Gavin and Tom Jenkins to negotiate with Lynch Funeral H= ome or some other interested party to do the dirt work needed when a grave is closed; the gate fee would be a total of $100.00 with $25.00 being retained= by the association. Ben Bentley seconded. Motion carried.
Ben Bentley donated $200.00 for a map of the cemetery to be posted on a sign at= the cemetery which would include the cemetery association’s e-mail address (www.caddomillsioofcemetery.com).
